Grief needs a dedicated time and space. We may be grieving ourselves or trying to understand how to support someone else. Because many of us are programmed to get over a loss quickly, we avoid discussing grief, and therefore we may have learned very little about the process and what is healthy.
I hope to help change that by honestly sharing my own grief journey through my blog – My Heart is Riding Shotgun. As a Certified Grief Educator, I also offer educational workshops on the grieving process for individuals, employers and communities. Additionally, I provide individual grief support and guide grief walks to harness the power of healing in nature.
